Dairy Flat is a suburb on the North Shore of Auckland City in the north island of New Zealand. Traditionally consisted of large working farms but over the years has had major development and subdivisions include life style barn conversions, bungalows and terrace style town houses. Cats are popular pets and many have been displaced, adopted and often seen getting up to ‘tricks’ by many residents. My fondness for these furry moggies inspired me! I have shared a home with two rescued male cats for the last five years. Their cheeky antics never fail to entertain and amuse our family.
